One Bag Travel

Going on a weekend away? Struggling with the 10kg hand luggage allowance for a European getaway? Don't worry. I've packed for you!

 1. Basics like a black cami and a white t-shirt are classic key pieces to pack in your suitcase because they can be worn dressed down during the day and spiced up at night!

2. A simple white blazer is perfect for transitioning yourself  into day and night too. If you're not one to wear white, you can always opt for a black blazer. A trench coat is another piece that's great to pack if the weather is a little gloomy and chilly but you still want to look chic!

3. You can't go wrong with a pair of jeans, blue or black. I decided to go for the blue just to add a bit of colour and break down the black and white theme a little!

4. Deciding what to wear in the evening can be quite difficult especially if you haven't planned where you'll be going. However, you can't go wrong with your favorite LBD! It's classic, simple yet so bold!

5. Shoes! Pack your favourite yet comfortable pair of flats and heels and you'll be good to go. Yes, it's that simple!

6. Choosing what bags to take can be rather difficult. I would try to take one bag which would transition me from day to night. But of course, let's face it, us girls like to have our options! A tote is perfect for travelling because you can throw literally anything and everything into their and make it into your own version of Mary Poppins' bag! As for the evening, a simple black clutch with gold hardware never fails!

7. As for accessories, a fedora hat, sunglasses and fur stole would look super chic on your sightseeing journeys! Also, you definitely need to take bold lip colours with you, especially with such a minimal wardrobe. You'll soon realise that these are god sends! You can thank me later.

I've put together some of the pieces so you can see how they work. One piece can be worn twice with a completely new outfit and no-one will even notice! And don't forgot, you can't go wrong with black and white. No matter how much one despises the colours, they will be your bff on your travels. Less is ALWAYS more!
