Winter Staples

As the crisp cold weather and fun festive season is approaching, I thought this post would be useful to many of you! We all need a few staples in our wardrobes so I've put together a few of my favourite staple pieces for this autumn/winter..

1. The jumper. A black and white jumper are winter essentials! My two mohair jumpers are from trusty Primark. These jumpers are so versatile as they go great with both trousers and skirts. AND the cropped sleeve makes it easy to wear during spring or cool summer nights too! Can I get a big yay for jumpers?!
2. The coat. Every winter I go through the pain and struggle to find the perfect winter coat! But this year I promised myself that I'm not going to purchase a black coat for the simple reason of having an "all black everything" wardrobe. So it was pretty easy finding one when I stumbled across this cream waterfall coat from River Island. I opted for this style because it's just different to the rest I own. It could be worn differently each time you wear it aswell! (How I style the coat blog post will be up soon so stay tuned!!)
3. The fedora. Oh yes, I love me a good fedora hat! The black hat is from River Island and the burgundy is from Primark. You can wear these hats to spice up your outfit and they keep you warm too!
4. The fur stole. Fur for winter is a must, ofcourse. This ma-hoosive, beautiful, soft fur stole is from Zara. I fell in love with it as it falls so perfectly onto your shoulders. They have this stole in black also but I'm trying so hard to stay away from buying more black clothing!
5. The leather and sequin texture. Leather and sequins are so great for the festive season. It's just an edgy way of looking glam really! I've pictured my matte sequin trousers from River Island and my leather trousers from H&M. The matte sequin trousers are perfect for Christmas parties. Throw on a plain blouse, a blazer and your favourite heels and you're good to go!
6. The statement necklace. So you may be wondering "why has this girl randomly placed necklaces everywhere?" Well my fellow readers, I had to include some statement necklaces right?! What's an outfit without a bit of "neckgame" going on?! I love adding statement necklaces when my outfits are lacking a bit'a suh'in suh'in.
